“CLOUD” Art Installation. Competition

“CLOUD” was one of the proposals that reached the final 15 for the “A cel obert” festival in Tortosa, Spain. The connection between the festival’s theme of “Intensity” and the proposed installation “CLOUD” can be established in various ways, both through the physical and sensory descriptions of the installation and the emotional impact it aims to provoke in viewers.

The visual intensity of “CLOUD” is conveyed through its large inflatable structure (10x10m, with a height of 10m), which is inherently impressive and attention-grabbing. The strategic lighting that shifts hues as night falls adds a dynamic visual intensity. The installation offers a complete sensory experience, combining light and sound to fully immerse visitors. The sound of an impending thunderstorm, with thunder and lightning, creates an atmosphere of power and mystery, heightening the intensity of the experience and making viewers feel as if they are inside a storm.

“CLOUD” is not merely an artwork to be observed but to be felt. Its emotional intensity results from a blend of visual and auditory elements designed to transport viewers into a realm of fantasy and contemplation. The piece is an ode to transient beauty, highlighting the ephemerality of clouds and, by extension, of life and nature.

In summary, “CLOUD” leverages intensity across multiple dimensions to create an immersive and unforgettable experience.
