A 60m² attic in greater Lisbon. The project focused on optimizing the compact space to meet the client’s request for a functional and comfortable layout. The bedroom was designed to include a built-in unit featuring a bed/sofa, offering ample storage space while creating a cozy retreat ideal for relaxation or leisurely activities. The living area was designed to seamlessly integrate with the office, promoting a fluid transition between relaxation and productivity. The staircase was designed using two materials: the first section retained the existing wood, while the second part was made of perforated metal sheeting to allow natural light to filter through from the skylight installed at the top of the staircase. The design aimed to preserve the character of the attic while introducing minimal interventions to enhance its usability and charm.
